We spent the entire day at the NWTF Convention and I saw many of my Facebook and hunting friends; and met many new folks. It never ceases to amaze me that I can always find a new product or a new “thing-a-ma-jig” or two that I just can’t leave without.

I stopped by the FLOOZIE booth to look at some turkey decoys and I am amazed at the life-like look of these decoys. The taxidermist grade heads on these decoys and feather screen printed body was amazing. The decoys have their own zippered camouflage carrying bag that they store in for mobility and there was even a built-in pocket for the stake. I cannot wait to field test this product.

A new product that I will be field testing during bow season is Body Guard 360. The scent suppression spray, body wash and clothing detergent are really unique. The scent suppression spray non-toxic and all natural. Not only does it work at destroying odors and rendering a hunter scent free; it repels ticks and chiggers. OKAY…this one I may need to try during turkey season for those mornings when I find myself sitting at the base of pine saplings on a years worth of pine straw.

Primos has several new vests that I was really excited about. I looked at Trophy Hunting Product‘s Back Seat Gun Sling which has been on my list for about a year now. Ground Game 360 has a really nice swiveling ground seat that is really unique.

I was able to stop by the HuntVe booth and meet Mathew “Heavy” Long, Ben and visit with John Sumrall. The new Dream Season HuntVe is really nice. We have been so thrilled with Hank our HuntVe Game Changer and cannot wait to take it to the turkey woods this season. This will completely change the way we have hunted turkey.

I will be at the show tomorrow working in the Commando Booth for several hours and then walking the floor once again in search of products for my turkey season product review line-up. As I sit here in this hotel room in dead silence waiting for the Goody Powder to work, I still hear the echos of turkey calls, owl sounds and predator calls in my head…but this is one show that I wouldn’t miss and one that any avid turkey hunter should make all efforts in attending.
