Duck and Snow Geese hunt in Northeast Arkansas:
This hunt is not affiliated with any group, magazine, or sponsorship and is a hunt not an event with silent auction, games and raffles—no frou-frou here—just an actual hunt. I am not a booking agent, nor am I getting a commission or compensation for coordinating this hunt; I am simply looking for other women who would like to participate in a waterfowl hunt. I am planning on filming some footage of the second hunt to submit to Up North Journal for the Beyond the Wild Series. This is a guided one or two-day hunt, hunters choice and we will be staying in a hotel in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Whether you are a new or polished duck hunter, you are invited. Please see the information below and if you would like to attend, email me with the date you want to attend.

Date:
Two weekends to choose from:

January 9th & 10th or January 23rd & 24th, 2010

It would be great if we can all try to arrive at the hotel in Jonesboro prior to 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening prior to our hunt so that we can go out to dinner as a group. The guides will join us and go over the plans for our hunt, as well as answer any questions you may have. Should you not be able to arrive that early, I can fill you in on the details when you do arrive.

Guide:
Mark Passmore
Buster Duck Outfitters

Please email me for Mark Passmore’s telephone number if you would like to contact him for questions or to get references. I have never hunted with Mr. Passmore, so requests for references or questions as to his Outfitter experience will need to be directed to him.

Location:

Modified choke or improved cylinder choke
Waders or hip boots (highly recommended and just about required)
Camo clothing, preferably water repelling or water resistant
Plenty of layers…it is usually pretty cold around that time of year in January.

To confirm your hunt, you will need to forward me a non-refundable $25 deposit. If you are mailing a check, it will be cashed upon receipt and the funds held until the day prior to the event. I will return your deposit to you upon your arrival at the hotel on Friday evening for you to submit with the balance. I apologize for asking for a non-refundable deposit, but my past experience with coordinating and booking hunts requires me to do this. Any non-returned deposits will be placed with the tips for the guides. Please email me for the mailing address at njadams1@centurytel.net.

I have women coming from every direction; if you wish to carpool with someone, let me know and I will see about helping you arrange that. This should be a fun hunt and I hope many of you can attend. Please feel free to email me if you should have any questions. I hope each and every one of you have a wonderful Christmas.
